#Black skill level-up text is illegible, how to fix?

yeah that seems normal. I am not really an expert, my guess is just that some mod messed up something in that folder somewhere
Could very well be, but in some other file
options.ini in the zomboid folder, maybe
it has a "goodhighlight" variable
goodHighlightColor=0.0,1.0,0.0
but thats probably the outline for aiming
Where is that file? I can't find it.
nvm, just found it :D
I understand RGB and...goodHighlightColor=0.0,0.4,0.2🤨
well thats um...different. Dunno if I changed my own aim outline settings, could be
if nothing works I'd just rename the entire user/zomboid folder and see how the game handles that
oh nice! so it was the goodhighlightcolor?
Indeed it was! I now remember, I did in fact adjust that color to make the 'Accept' buttons less of an eyesore, as dim as the red 'Cancel' buttons were. I wonder if the little bit of red there in the mix caused the issue with xp gain text after updating to b42?
I actually already thought I was silly and confused it with the aim outline color. And maybe they changed the format for the colors and it didn't convert it right or something, who knows
Ok, the red blue is not the issue. 0.0,0.5,0.0 made the text black again.
I do think this is a minor bug. You should be able to set the accept buttons to a dimmer green without making the xp gain text illegible.
Can't set the green lower than 0.8 or that happens!
Settled on0.0,1.0,0.5as a color more pleasing to my eyes.
