Glitched font

Friends first time launching and he gets this glitched out font. Any ideas?

Seems like a possible resolution issue, does it also happen after restarting the game? Or if he sets the game to Borderless mode instead of Fullscreen?

Changing resolutions or changing to borderless doesnt seem to help,on windowed mode its a bit better,but still there. Gonna try verifying files next
