#Anyone have experience with desync in a paid host server?

I’m having issues with my server currently and research tells me that it has to do with a desync issue. I am having issues where my character will spawn into game but being in a completely different location for example it will spawn back to our location that I had quit out a few players ago. Also items that I have gotten during gameplay will disappear out of my inventory or items that I’ve already placed away will reappear in my inventory even if I delete them when I log back in they are back in my inventory. Also had an issue where some of my freezers and crates disappeared and everything inside of them was on the floor.

I researched a fair amount online and it seems that it’s to do with the server host not sinking properly. Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it?

It would depend a lot on the version of the game you are playing

There are a lot of various bugs in 42, I would suggest setting the SaveWorldEveryMinutes setting to around 5

#

So you force the server to save your progress every 5 minutes at least

I have set it to 5 so we shall see it was at 0

Ok did a few things then relogged to check if it saved and it seemed it worked! Thank you so much @void estuary you yet again saved my game play! (You helped me about a year ago) 🤣
