Flashlights only work in secondary

Is there anything unusual in this video? it seems if i equip a flashlight as my primary, it will never work again (until I reload the game). if it is a secondary, it seems to be working.

Could you try waiting at least 5-10 seconds for the flashlight to turn on? Or try moving around

I noticed there is a slight delay in some cases for the light to properly show up
