I have absolutely no clue what causes this, it happens with or without mods, more so with mods. The video provided is 100% Vanilla, and shows the clear stuttering in an area completely void of anything but trees and road. This spot in particular seems to cause the stuttering a lot, but it happens all around the map in random areas, some populated, and some not.
#Random Stuttering B42.13.1 Single Player and Multiplayer

PC Specs:
Intel I5 14400F
Nvidia RTX 5070
32gb DDR5 4800
1 TB NVMe SSD
Windows 11
I have it on nearly default settings, however lowering things like blood etc do nothing. I have 10gb of ram dedicated to the game, and I have tried different amounts (6, 8, 10 gb) and none of those have done anything for me performance wise.
There appear to be some mod related things earlier in the log, (I was testing both to see if it was mod related before jumping on here) but for a few minutes before and after the video was taken I was in vanilla.
Just to check, does this happen when driving in the area for the first time or for multiple times? There is currently stutter when new areas are explored
Just for the first time, passing back through is usually fine. It also happens when I’m exploring an area of the first time on foot.
I did notice that playing mods that add a lot of things that need loading causes the stuttering to increase significantly, sometimes to the point here it drops down to 5fps and then crashes. Specifically with mods like 10 years later, or adding any car mods like Ki5 or mods that edit the traffic jam amounts or change vehicle spawns.
Yeah I am not sure I can help with that, we are aware of the issues when loading areas for the first time, it will be improved in the future, it seems to just happen because of all the data that is generated
Mods can of course add to that
Alright sounds good, is this a 42.13.1 specific issue? Could I revert back to an older b42 or would it just be the same?
