You are not losing it. The textures and props are slightly oversized relative to the character
Shelves, doors, and counters are scaled about 5-15 percent larger than a real-world human reference
Unfortunately there is no vanilla fix. Project Zomboid intentionally scales props and tiles slightly larger than the player for readability in isometric view, and this is hard-coded
I swear it wasnt always like this?
Looks normal to me, pretty sure its how it always was
am i just losing it sir?
heres another example
Hm, maybe a little smaller..? Could you share your options.ini file from your User/Zomboid folder?
Hm, the one setting that could affect texture size is correctly enabled, though you seem to be playing on a fairly low resolution
Did you perhaps play on a higher resolution before? Since your resolution isnt currently supported in 42 at the moment
cuz 1366x768 is my native
ive always played on 1366x768
and i cant change it or this happens ..
wel nvm i cant ss it but it zooms in making me not able to see the menu buttons or settings buttons or anything
Yes, its why its not supported
When i change res it zooms in so does it mean ill have to wait for them to release support for it?
Yes, unless you get a monitor that is 1080p
