The world was normal - right up until it wasn’t.
One final soul tipped the balance of Hell, and the End Times began. Satan’s power spilled into the world, tearing open the grave and dragging the dead back into motion. They rise wearing familiar faces, speaking in familiar voices, but they are hollow things, mindless cannibals that show no mercy, not even to their own blood. The only thing they fear is the light and that can only stop them temporarily.
His influence doesn’t stop with the dead. Sin is stronger now. Weak minds fracture. Desperation turns people into monsters long before death ever finds them. Bandits, cultists, and killers carry out Satan’s will without even realizing it.
Darkness is no longer empty. At night, it watches. It whispers. You may hear a loved one call your name, see a silhouette just beyond the light, but it is always a lie meant to draw you in and claim you.
Only light holds meaning now. It is the last gift the Lord left behind after turning His gaze away, rapturing those He deemed worthy and abandoning the rest to be tested. Light reveals truth, drives back the dead, and offers a chance at redemption.
Those who remain are called the Redeemed Ones - survivors left behind to earn their place, or lose themselves to the dark.
