There was an accident nearly 60 years ago that claimed countless lives. It earned a spot in one of the worst mining incidents of all time. As it does, time continued on, people forgot. The earth does not. From that accident a lung was given a new breath of life. A lung hidden deep in the Earth that was the foundation of the spread. The spread of a virus that went unseen and unheard of for many years. By the time the government began noticing it was too late. Now, in 2026, 2 years after the apocalypse... humanity nears extinction as the virus has claimed the whole world.
