As far as I can see, the filter only applies to the chat

I do not think its done for usernames as well, might suggest forwarding that as a suggestion to add that

just checked this. it seems words in the profanity filter on the server will not allow an account with the word to join. thumbsup

at least the 1 specific word I tested worked as expected
