Spawned in Riverside and decided to stay in my starting house near the school. Got scratched a couple times early on, but, thankfully, didn't get infected. Looted the school for skill books, survived the helicopter, found a Spiffo's van with the key in the ignition and made it my main car. Found everything needed for a nice life except for the generator and the generator magazine, so after looting the book store, post office and police station I decided to go to the self-storage units.
By that time, I knew I had 1 day to take the generator and magazine before the power shuts off. Unfortunately, I ran into a huge horde in that part of the map. Fortunately, I had a shotgun and 5 boxes of shells(which didn't thin the horde's ranks as much as lured it to a field where I shot the gun and where they wouldn't be a problem). I found my generator, but then when I entered the self-storage unit to take it, the burglar alarm blared. I drove off and came back the next day, again with my guns, gathered a huge horde on the road to the self-storage unit, drove in, packed the two generators I found into the Spiffo's van and drove off right past them!
I also found the Electrical 1 book in the self-storage units, so I could start grinding Electrical 3(I had no luck with the generator magazine). As you can see, this lady wasn't skimping on killing Zs, so she had the watches for a lot of Electrical XP. Now, I've planted the kale and lettuce seeds to be self-sustainable after the harvest with my trapping magazines and books. The general area of my house is clear, and now I just need to complete my wall, grind skills, and wait for the harvest.
