Something isn't right. There's a stink in the air, people are falling sick. They came and collected you in the middle of the night - maybe it was just you. Maybe it was your family. Maybe your family were left behind, and you were dragged out of the house kicking and screaming, only to be silenced as shock and awe replace fury. The same thing is happening to the entire neighbourhood. Your neighbour pulls a gun as his daughter is taken - they're shot dead. The screaming wife is left behind with the children. They don't take any children. Not. A. Single. One.
You're bundled into the back of a military van with other people. None of you are sick, which is strange - you've been around so many sick people over the past three days, you would have thought you would have at least caught a cough. But no. Not a single person there has so much as a runny nose.
There are men. There are women. Some are clearly homeless - some are very obviously not, if the indignant banker is any indication. It doesn't matter who you were. It doesn't matter where you came from.
You're taken anyway. Anybody protests? They're shot. Some people run - some even get away.
Those of you who don't? Are taken to a quarantine camp in the middle of the forest, next to a lake.
What is happening? Nobody has a fucking clue. Nobody would know in just a few more days...
The sick would keel over. The dead would walk.
And life as you once knew it? Would be gone. And your life as you have it now, so perilously clasped to your breast? It makes no difference. You're in freefall.

Welcome to Freefall, a B42 Multiplayer RP server with a focus on creating engaging server lore and player stories. With the introduction of Multiplayer, we are entering a fresh season - Season 3. If you're looking for a great community with events and a choose-your-own-adventure style world, you've come to the right place.
Our PvE is challenging but not overwhelming, our zombies move reasonably quickly but do not sprint, infection is set to bite only and our PvP is permitted in certain situations under our Comply Or Die ruleset. We are starting our Season 3 without mods to boost stability, and have provisions in place to ensure skill progression is not lost in the event an update causes issues for us and our players.
Our map hosts a small, walled off Kill on Sight area where large amounts of loot can be found - this place is Bandit controlled and is the only KOS location on the map. Players can request bandit accounts and will be pinged to defend the hoard if an intruder is trespassing in the KOS area.
Access to the rest of the map officially opens today. You may join, whitelist a character, and take part in some character building RP before the quarantine camp walls fail and players are released into hellscape that is B42 Knox County.
