Did you perhaps change any of the server settings? Since RatIndex is a server setting.

Perhaps a rat colony has exceeded the threshhold in that chunk overnight? idk what it means

I read online the bandits mod might be a cause, but its disabled fully.
Maybe a remnant of that did it?
