#Networked Generators

First time posting here, so please be kind. If I'm out of the loop, by all means let me know. I'm just trying to fill a gap as I'm a base builder at heart.

This mod idea lets generators work together using an adjustable network radius. Any generator within that radius behaves as if it’s part of a shared power grid, which makes powering larger bases or multiple buildings much easier without changing the core generator mechanics. I know there are changes coming, but this could be a good stop-gap in the interim for facility level, user friendly power. Most other mods seem to just stop maintaining or are buggy af.

So this has simple sandbox settings to turn the feature on or off and to choose the radius you want with lots of hooks for more options down the road. I'm also working on a visual range option, like a currently available mod, but I don't want to step on toes.

I have ideas for including manual linking, smarter building-aware networks, and possibly some optional in-game info. The idea is to keep things straightforward and readable so other modders can easily build on it or take it further in whatever direction the community finds useful.

What I really need is help coding and testing. I'm beyond my capabilities as it is and have been vibe coding to get things working. Any help or people willing to run with what I have would be excellent.
