#Base Progress Before and After

this looks like a good spot for a base, try making it cozy, like a home, don't stick to crates and shelves, be creative, put some tables with stuff on them to reflect the room, like guns for the armory, wrench, and car tools for the garage and so on, a cozy couch in a corner with a fireplace and a tv, different storage, don't just stack crates on top and shelves next to each other, it's boring, believe me, you're not gonna use that much storage and even if you do, you're not gonna use the loot that fit in, except the ammo and melee weapons of course, i can post some pictures with some of my bases to get you some ideeas if you want
So the bottom floor is mainly meant for storage outside of the purple highlighted, I wanna keep it kinda homely feels with crates and scavenged shape the walls and shape are honestly just making it awkward, also on the storage space subject iv currently got about 1.8k lbs in stuff, iv got a hoarding problem lmao but a good chunk of that is furniture that imma throw in the shed next doors, granted I’m not gonna place just lines of shelves lol, just on those two walls, that’s where my struggle for the space filling is coming from so Iv you’ve got large floor space bases I’d love to see for some inspiration!
after 9 months of running away of zombies, more cars outside, armory upstairs
Base 2, no sprinters like the other one, 3 months of focused building or decorating whatever you wanna call it, not finished yet
base number 3, the luckiest save i have, spawned close to military map mod, found truck with trailer with keys inside and focused straight to base building
all of them are 2 hour days so that's why i so much stuff so early
i had something similiar
it does have more stuff now , its not 100% updated
I need to make a dedicated garage car workshop lol, might just turn the auto shop next door into that,
Current garage is dedicated to crafting stuff atm
Dont Mind the radio on the Couch, Im unsure where to put it atm, probs gonna throw in a few tables but rn unsure, also about to grind to elec 3 to bring in a stove for the extra tile
still unsure on what to do with the walls, ideally would make it all the pink color besides the kitchen area
wait, i could potentially go find a wood stove hmmmm
Ok so I've decided on how I'm wanting to fill this space tho im realising imma need a second Pool Table to fill the space a bit, still unsure of there to slap a TV tho lol
so many buildings needed for blacksmithing
anyways iv been slacking, gotten some cooking supplies, now im going to rosewood to go find a blacksmithing book
why not keep that side of the base a garage, you can and should do blacksmithing outside in the back or you can build some pillars and a roof an voilla, no rain while working on your forge
Honestly, main reason is I want storage for more vehicles then the existing garage can hold, tho I am chill with keeping it in the general area, just haven’t decided yet
im building a base in the same area in echo, i like the location im using the house uptop for now just for starters, but i think im gonna clear the bottom floors once i empty the supplies lol
Oh hey I set up base in this same building, I like the ideas!!
Alright i took a break for ghost of yotei but i finally got home and did a bit of blacksmithing
(i was at lvl 2 before this)
What about the basement?
Or upstairs?
Upstairs is in limbo and mostly untouched, downstairs I plan to turn into a bar
I am headed to sleep now but heres the current
What do the jobs look like in build 42? (Police, lumberjack, veteran ext from build 41)
Haven’t played with a lot of them but https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Occupation
It’s a k10 mod I’m pretty sure
I’ll double check and give the exact name
Thanks
I'm planning on build 41 because I like multiplayer
Fair fair
Added a New wall to the mix to help fill a bit of space
FIRST SWORD + Blacksmithing 10
Ok, so I've thrown together a basic bedroom design, though i might try a few variations Mainly Replacing the rug
This is tuff
final version of the Bedroom might throw a few decoration items on some of the furniture, but besides that its done
you just sledgehammer them
warehouses are a good bet, or the back of like service trucks at road damage areas
TyI will take a look at the sorrounds of echo creek to see if I find one
@quick rover
?
How did u deleted this floating shi
I’m pretty sure I just picked it up, or just sledge/disassemble it
I can't pick it up so I guess it's that sledgehammer 😭
