copied this over from #mod_support since I was blind af and couldn't find this channel before oops
Context: It was working completely fine yesterday (well, a bit buggy but that's to be expected with a heavily modded game so soon after an update, nothing game breaking). I checked the workshop this morning before loading in and added a few new mods and also finally re-installed the map mods I used to have before getting RV Interiors since that initially wasn't compatible with map mods. Game loaded in fine; went into the mod manager (I use the modded version) and enabled the new mods, also finally figuring out how to hide mods after all this time so I can get rid of all the Mr Bean and Scooby Doo decal car clutter items that I'll never be enabling. Reloaded lua and the menu screen was blank, no text or menus, just the background art. Force quit through steam. Reopened and crashed before even loading. Uninstalled all the mods I added today and rebooted the PC, with the intention of adding back one by one (I have like 15 years of experience with Sims mods breaking so this is second nature to me by now). The game loaded and all my mods were disabled. Re-enabled them all and fell into the same issue, which is odd since I played with that exact mod config for days (~20-30 hours in total; I don't have a problem I swear) beforehand. Rebooted again and this time the mods didn't reset, but the game is now stuck getting into some of the loading then crashing when it's loading scripts. As for the log file: there are A LOT of stack trace items, most/all of which seem to be for vanilla items? Have I accidentally corrupted the game install here? I really hope I don't have to reinstall everything since I'm ill AF right now and also impatient. Also my ADHD meds didn't kick in yet, so there's a chance I'm missing something obvious in the sea of stack trace error items.
yappathon over, i just wanted to explain what's happening and my interpretation.
