Some useful tips:

Use masks to make it harder to get sick IF you are too close to one or even more corpses. Gas masks provide 100% protection.
If you reach 2000 zombie kills, you automatically become desensitized.
Nested Containers: This mod lets you put containers inside containers such as your backpack inside the truck of your car letting you see the bag inside it without taking it.
