There were a couple issues in the pre-release from beta testers (rotating character figure while turning comes to mind), so probably they're taking the time to fix those.

#

On the other hand, part of me is hoping that maybe they're refining what they told beta-testers not to show, the big feature of 42.12 ... But that's just me attempting a wishcast

Every job has requirements, but if you're generally technical then that's a good place to start. I can't really get into specific requirements because there isn't an active vacancy and I'm not sure from a HR perspective what would actually be required.

Please keep expectations low. There were a number of reasons why the time between this patch and the last one is longer than previously. We had a number of people on holiday during this patch (common in the summer), as well as a staff event. On top of that there have been some unexpected bugs with the intended release that have not yet been resolved. Rest assured, it's being worked on.

It doesn't even do that - through testing it shows to heal at the exact same rate. The one upside to leveling first aid is actually the quality of splints - the higher you are the better quality splint you can make. The better quality it is the closer to normal movement speed you can be
