not at all, i was at that SAME spot a couple days ago, and it took forever to find the right right click spot to get the dismantle option, and i had welder mask and torch ready to go

that said, when you get to Zavier's school for ekzeptional zomboids at the end, can you let me know what kind of loot you find? I have a bug report on the main forum, because I think it's mismapped somehow, but it might just be my playthrough.
