Look at the mod page that the file orinates, and see if there are any additional installation steps. Something like BetterFPS for example, requires that you move an "iso" folder from one location to another in order to get the mod to function without crashing the game.

Also check the mod loading order. I had various crashes from gun mods because the dependancies were ordered AFTER the mod itself, causing the mod to fail on load.

I just deleted the script that the server was missing and it then worked perfectly fine lol
