The Original PZ Military Roleplay Server returns with Season 5 of the 9th Kentucky Rifles!
Not your typical RP server. You don't wander off into the wild or go looting solo, you deploy and run missions or go on patrols. Every outing is a passage in the unit's campaign, with objectives, consequences, and a storyline that reacts dynamically to your choices.
Think of it as Project Zomboid meets D&D, a military campaign set in a survival horror world with NPC factions.
Must be 18+ to join.

Following stabilization efforts in the south, the 9th Kentucky Rifles were ordered north toward Louisville to assess the bridges leading to the Drag Strip Airfield. Initial progress was slowed by a quarantine zone at Chinatown, an abandoned Iron Front settlement overrun with undead and raiders. The 9th cleared Chinatown and its sewers, only to trigger interest from local scavenger gangs seeking to take advantage of the situation.
With Chinatown secured, the 9th advanced up the highway, neutralizing the position and scattering the biker gang. With the 9th's recon efforts focused north, a 52nd attack force managed to close in on Bastion from the south and destroy it in an ambush. Pushed by Old Dominion to reach West Point without further delay, the unit shifted to a mysteriously abandoned FOB, rechristened FOB Rublev. An intact bridge over the West Point River was discovered, and its clearance enabled passage of heavy vehicles and set the stage for a strike on the nearby Drag Strip Airfield.
Shortly after securing the Drag Strip Airfield, the 9th encountered a new threat: a hostile militia group operating east of the river, equipped with anti-air weaponry responsible for downing a civilian helicopter. A swift assault was launched to neutralize the camp and destroy the MANPADS, but intelligence suggested that critical assets had already been relocated. As construction of a forward operating base in West Point began, the search for remaining missile systems intensified. Simultaneously, distress calls from the Coalition of Survivors redirected the 9th's attention to emergency rescue operations. Stations 20 and 4 had gone silent under active assault, prompting an immediate intervention to recover survivors and eliminate nearby bandits threatening civilian stability.
With a firm hold on the Drag Strip Airfield, the 9th established defensive fortifications in preparation for full battalion deployment. Whiskey and Coalition intelligence pointed to a fortified enemy stronghold at the West Point school, prompting a direct assault to dislodge hostiles and secure critical intel. This intel led the 9th to the abandoned Pharmagen facility, where deeper layers of the enemy’s logistics network began to surface. Inside, a scientist and a few experimental ampules, marked Zomboxivir, were recovered. While the scientist was assassinated during an attempted rooftop evacuation, this marked the first time a non-military group was found in possession of the cure.
The discovery reshaped the conflict. Zomboxivir, deployed in limited quantities among high-ranking personnel, had been considered tightly controlled due to the destruction and loss of any production or research related to the drug-until now. The 9th was no longer facing just disorder or resistance, they were confronting actors with a stake in controlling the future. Survival may no longer be the only end goal anymore.
