drinking soda and beer, and reading magazines and outdoorsy guides in his underwear to try to feel better after a sure but slow infection
he lasted 2 days and 7 hours
I made some story for my guy. Philip Catalano the outdoorsy farmer was quite the lover of bbq, carpentry, and the outdoors in general. He had a family, but by the outbreak, only his older son was with him still. The house was still full of comics and a bunk bed from the past tho. When the outbreak started, he hid, reading up and trying to keep himself away. He got scratched early on despite killing the zombie quickly with his bare hands, using disnfected rags. Eventually, he searched his shed, and found his son, zombified. He never really got over it. As he searched his abandoned neighbors house. finding more and more food and more and more painkill and vitamins, it was useless.
He awoke on the next sunrise, knowing he barely had time left. He drank some soda, had some beer, had the last painkillers and vitamin's, and then sat down near his bed, reding his book on gathering plants in the outdoors.
That were his last moments thinking
