Hey folks! Welcome to Desolation Point. Our server is a casual, light RP, PvPvE environment. We have plenty of great mods that seek only to enhance the experience.
We are a new server, only going public this week; but we are an extremely experienced staff of server admins with experience running incredibly popular communities in Rust, ARK, HurtWorld, Conan Exiles, Space Engineers, and more. We seek to achieve similar goals to our past game servers; with a thriving cooperative community and a dash of great pvp. We actively moderate the server and take suggestions of ways to improve from our users.
There will be a series of what we call "Lite Seasons" that will seek to enhance your immersion in the world more. While some RP servers have strict narratives that require significant engagement from users, we seek to look at seasons as worldbuilding rather than strict narratives. This means we construct random unique events that will alter the world's weather, vehicle & loot spawns, power and water, zombie population numbers and behaviors, among other things. These can range from abandoned convoys to active antagonists or friendly aid.
