I have never used Blender before and only have slight experience with Source Filmmaker. I’m starting with posters and eventually plan to work my way up to creating fully-fledged animations. I’ve spent half the day on this poster alone and hope to finish it before Monday.

Poster 1 Backstory (Finished ✅ ):
A man sits alone in his shack in the woods. Night has fallen, and he is illuminated by nothing but the flame of his lighter.

I hope to expand on this character if I ever learn how to animate.

Going to call it a night with this so far; I'll continue tomorrow

Im not sure how I feel about using a lighter as a light source. If it has too much bloom, it looks like the sun, and if I lower it, it’s just too dim

Not really integrated with the backstory, but I can still expand on that. Hopefully, he’ll be doing something outdoors—maybe tree-cutting and living in his cabin for the next poster

Gonna touch up on this and it should be finished as my first poster

I'm planning to make a campfire outside "Ben's cabin" and have him cook by the fire. If you have any tips about the grass, I'd really appreciate them, as I have no idea how it works. I was messing around with the UV editor, and now I just have big chunks of grass
