Hello, me and my friends have been playing in multiple saves, with and without mods, and all of them get corrupted after a few hours of play with the same error message which I attach to this ticket (it's in spanish but I will translate it to the best of my ability).

"Save can't be loaded"
"Save can't be loaded"
"Because of the magnitude of all changes implemented to vehicles, saves of previous versions are not compatible. To continue this save: get access to Build 38.30 pre-vehicles through the beta versions in Steam"
"Save version saved: 1 version of the current world: 195"

If anyone has any insight into this or know how to fix it please hmu.

Info to add, the server is always hosted by the same person

To try and fix the version error, first create a new single player game with the exact same mods (if any).
Then navigate to “C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Saves” find your specific broken save folder, and back it up. Then open the new game save folder that you created. From there, copy the “map_ver.bin” file and paste it into the broken save folder.
That should fix the version issue, if it does not then deleting the “map_t.bin” file could fix it as well, though this will cause issues with several other features, such as keeping track of time.

First option didn't work, had to do the second one. It seems like it works for now

Map got completely wiped so we are starting a new save anyways

#

Thanks for the help tho

:)

#

Any reason this error could have popped up?

#

So we can avoid recreating it in the future

Usually caused by crashes, rarely caused by mods corrupting the areas

#

It is very unlikely the whole map got wiped
