This is a custom modification and collab between @buoyant snow and myself. Whenever you spawn, you wake up in a hidden hospital, dazed and confused. Your kit is in the bedside table and a strange vent you can escape from.
As you explore, you will find clues to other vents throughout the world. Each time you open a vent, you will be able to spawn in that location. You can also craft vents, however you cannot escape into RV's (that wouldn't make sense).
This makes exploration more challenging, dangeresque and Phun!

Todays bump is brought to you by our unique and dynamic Sprinters system.
Our sprinters loathe the light so as darkness falls or fog intensity increases, sprinters may start to appear. You can easily spot them even if they aren't sprinting as they are fully decomposed. If it is dark enough and they do see you, you'll hear it! This makes nighttime scouting with flashlights important!
The longer you play, the more sprinters you create, but that number will also vary with your current location (eg Rosewood won't spawn sprinters, Raven Creek spawns a lot!). The number will also vary depending on the current moon cycle. To help you identify your risk level, there is a little movable nameplate that shows you the name of your current zone and the current risk level.
Sprinters are a great source of tension and good loot like Chuck D Cheese tokens used to buy traits!

Throughout the world, you will come across new vending machines that are restocked every couple of days. These machines are themed and sell a wide array of merch from ammo to books to cars to perks, traits and more.
Most machines take tokens found on different zeds. Although some take collector items in exchange for rare tokens that in turn can buy you traits (or allow you to sell off negative traits).
