#Truck Nomad build.

Youve got so many perks and debuffs
Thin-Skinned is a bit scary, but besides that looks like a pretty solid loadout. By the way, whats the mod that spawns the trucks / nomad tools? Seems pretty fun
actually, now that im thinking about it, thin skinned wouldnt be too bad as long as your careful. Plus, this is a nomad build, so you probably wouldn't be going near many zomboids anyway lol
More traits mod! It's very fun, adds a lot of variety and lets you do more with each start.
Thanks for the comment! Thin-skinned really isn't that bad as long as your treating wounds properly and boiling your rags, it has no affect on Knox.
Here is a collection containing all the "Vehicle Nomad" starting options.

I see. I might have to try taking it sometime then, seems more manageable than I once thought. Thanks for the mod links!
You'd think that truckers would be Wakeful, no?
and night owls
Okok your right, I'll make a few changes
Isn't that Security Guard only though?
It should be a choosable trait tbh, mutually exclusive: Sleepyhead, Restless Sleeper
no but I can take the other thing, and yes I know those are mutually exclusive i'm gonna give something up I guess
probably gymnast as that's stupid for this build, just one of my defaults
Switched underweight for overweight removed sleepyhead and speed demon (because of expert driver) added wakeful, kept restless sleeper as the default sleeping time feels too short even when exhausted.
oh removed gymnast, didn't make much sense i just always take it for nimble.
if i could find another 2 points somewhere I might grab cat eyes but i'm not sure what to trade.
why you take overweight for underweight?
im quite sure it's faster to lose underweight
holy shit, first time i've gotten a loaded trailer
realism mostly
I see more bulky truckers than I do underweight ones if they aren't fit in the first place.
same reason I took pack animal and organised, a lot of heavy lifting sometimes ie a tire blowing out.
and regardless of how it looks they generally know exactly where what tools they need are
in terms of trying to maximize the build, i get organized
since you're confined in the small space
you need to fit all your stuff in the small space
i'm overweight now because I stepped away from the min-maxing and wanted it to be slightly more fitting as toad pointed out
what's with Prowess:Blunt
as far as i know, Mechanic already comes with blunt
short blunt rather
1 of each, 20% less chance at breaking on top of maintenance
half the point of this run is to encourage me to use guns a bit less
so I took some blunt and maintenance
Restless sleeper makes sleep less effective
yes so it takes longer to get the same amount
waking up when sleeping on the floor is a bit annoying but I have a truck
Just so you know, the tiredness debuff is extremely bad
I know LOL, I don't go out unless i've slept well and am being more careful now that I have a good spawn that I kind of care about
That's the neat part, there's no such thing as "slept well" with Restless Sleeper
Gotta somehow get back to sleep again to truly wake up slept well as Restless Sleeper
you mean wake up, 40-70 mins of working out in two different exercises, hop back to sleep?
it's a good routine waking up at 5 am, working out a little then going back to sleep
wouldn`t helped with deprived trait?
I couldn't take deprived because I started with some gear, next time I start i'll consider taking it tho, would save me an extra 3 points in loot stuff too.
Yup, since i got deprived, its a must have on my builds since i can get gear along the way, and i can find a belt in other places too
True enough, it's just consistently a pain trying to get your first few zed kills so I don't bother with it, probably could
yeah, is a hassle if u are playing with a higher pop
So @stoic lava I'll take your advice and put wakeful on and switch some stuff around, what else do you think I should do?
Ooh, I actually do have a perk I can use for that I think
it'd require some switching around, yeah I do have the +1 in mechanics
Yeah those two skills are the car skills
You're gonna want them if you like working on cars a lot
Yeah I can make that happen for sure, besides dexterous because of the tool switching and organised due to part size can you think of anything else that'd help me out in the long run?
