help setting up a server

this is my first time hosting a server and i wanna learn how to add mods idk if im doing it right or not

well, assuming that you are using the "host" option, to add mods to your mp server, click manage settings when you first open the host tab, create new settings if you haven't made a pack yet or edit selected settings if you have, and then navigate to the steam workshop tab. From there, you will see a list of mods that you have downloaded that you can add to your server. Add however many you want, then go to the "mods" option directly below it. Some mods have a few options besides the base mod you may want to delete / add. Also, if you are adding map mods, you need to make sure you have all the tiles that mod is using. (if any). Be sure to add any requirements mods might have as well. If you do all this right, then your mods should work when you boot up the world.
