I really appreciate your enthusiasm to play together, but I wanted to explain why my friend and I can’t join in right now. We’ve been looking forward to some quality time together, and we have some plans that we’ve been working on for a while. It’s not that we don’t want to include you—it's just that we’re really committed to this time we’ve set aside.
I hope you understand; sometimes friendships need that dedicated space to strengthen and grow. We genuinely value the fun we have with others too, and maybe we can connect another time when the timing is better.
