too close to the roof? game let me place the staircase though so if it was too close whyd it let me place it

the square on the top of the staircase isnt a platform its me hovering over that spot with the platform tool and it being an invalid location

you've been to the top flight of the stairs? cause stairs have a standard attached floor when you build them.

just carefully walk up so the 2nd floor loads in, it most probably will have a floor 😉
