A long time ago, a zombie virus started infecting people. At first people that were infected stayed home and rested but after a while people knew it was more than a cold or a virus. The Government as usual reacted too late, by the time they stepped in multiple states had virus cases. Quarantines were set up but we’re overrun within 2 months. After the second quarantine was overrun they started dropping bombs and napalms on us as a “last resort”.
That was 3 months ago and now people are more protective than ever. Loot seems to be bare. The only loot we get is the government dropping supplies but those are mainly controlled by bandits. Hospitals and gun shops are basically empty. Bandits are now formed all over. There's HQs that they hangout at. Some even come looking for trouble. This is how the world is now and we must somehow survive here.
