So I have started an Apocalypse world with the Police officer occupation and have plenty guns available. I would like to make a secluded base, I've chosen the weather station north of muldraugh as it is close to west point and riverside too. This is my planned layout. Any suggestions for improvement in layout design?
Current thoughts:
Light green: Decor, plants
Dark green: Farming
Dark orange at the left of the gate: A watchtower
Blue: Car parking
Black: Armory
Yellow: storage
Purple: living space
Red: Garage for car repair in the centre after demolishing the 1x1 building
The pink arc is just to maintain a curved road separated from the decoration space

Any suggestions for the empty space? Or any changes to the layout?

It sounds a great idea. I would recommend getting stuff like a fridge, bed, furnace (necessary items) before actualy moving in there (and tools and food... aswel ofc)

first get a car and then start little, like water and food, so you can start getting all the items, of course it s in muldraugh so there are a lot of zombies so you will also need weapons and patience (and skill) i will also recommend to start a sandbox world and tweak your settings to your preference , decor and plants are good for the small green one but for the big i will recommend to make another car parking, maybe for some trucks and trailer or if you have the container mod from ki5, the one with fuel so you can have a closer gas source, the blue one is good for daily use cars, the farming plot it s too big in my perspective because you will find so much food even on very low settings, you have like hundreds of houses close to you so you won t run out of food. For me, that armory is small, so maybe expand it a little so you can put in there different types of containers not only boxes, some guns on table and stuff, oh and i like to create different outfits, maybe put some mannequins :)) this is my advice, hope it helps, have fun smashing zeds

I will find a few mannequins in one of the warehouses in muldraugh. Expanding the armory is a good idea. I'll make the farm smaller, make more space for cars maybe as a display back there.

I tried fighting a horde in a thunderstorm, I got surprise attacked by a backstabbing zombie
And I don't usually like to start a new character in the same world.
1600 kills in 26 days. I'm pretty satisfied cause it was my second Apocalypse difficulty run
