#Where should I be looking for generator magazine?

house bookshelves, the bookstore on the main road, really anywhere any magazines can spawn, along with sheds and garages
there is a bookstore in one of the strip malls
what are crowds like there? I've haven't quite gotten to the police station yet but have been to the gas station 4 times
the hordes there are pretty bad
i would honestly just suggest finding a car and making your way to rosewood
you would have a much better chance of finding it in the school or the bookstore
haven't figured out what's wrong with my car, but it starts poorly
so I'm worried about taking it into dense areas
is the engine bad?
if its stalling then thats bad but if it takes a while to start then thats fine since your not turning off your car in dense areas
o rly?
yeah if you go to the front of the car and open the hood you should be able to see what condition its in
what matters the most is the engine
you could also intentionally shout to draw all the nearby zombies into a house or something, and hop a fence to lose them
also if you click on the engine you should be able to see the engine quality which is its chance to start each time
i haven't done that much
i would suggest just heading to rosewood but if you cant you can try shouting then heading into the woods next to the bookstore to lose them then looping back around
Rosewoods small and boring, muldraugh has way more action
i'm just getting battle hardened
id look for it on this order until i find it:
-library
-school
-gas station
-big houses
The library marked in green by the main road is gonna be your best shot in MD. Other than that you're on the right road already. Keep searching bookshelves in houses.
I ended up finding one not too long after this
in this clump
I think we can consider this closed 🙂
I know it's late but this cul-de-sac is basically guaranteed to find a gen mag
I started heading there looking for more fresh food on the day of grid down
but too many zombies to play through there hastily
yea it was like a 2 day trip for me lol
Now that grid down, I'm a bit more nervous about sleeping in random houses for extended trips
I get that, but as long as line of sight is cut off and you have a door or window between you and the zeds you should be fine
you could also sleep in your car with the drivers side up against a wall
yea I just don't have that comfort figured out yet
I hear ya
i just got comfortable with flashing doors open/close instantly
while in attack stance
but I still get nervous when I know a zed is behind a door
yup I get it
I would suggest starting some runs where you're not intending on surviving too long, just kinda go balls to the wall fighting and running around just to get comfortable with the environment and the zeds presence around you
I did that on my laptop last night between meetings
basically tried to see how big of a mob I could handle
40 was a challenge
nice
I parked a police cruiser, turned on the lights and siren, and did some tests
really interesting to see you can't shout zeds to you by a cruiser
dunno if it was mentioned but they can also spawn in mailboxes so try checking there if you can't find one
