Still chancing it with the vehicle interiors eh? I stopped using that mod after entering a few with zeds in them. The lag that comes with transferring your char across the map combined with 1-3 zeds inside trying to kill me mean my run is over.
I lost 3 chars like that and that's just the ones who died from the attack 😄
Trust = Zero for that mod not to screw me over.

With no zombies? At all? Exploring LV is lightwork.
Depending on what you want to do with your game the horse racing track is a pretty decent place to base up. HUGE area which is mostly fenced in already. If there's a zed pop just kill off a couple thousand, build like 25 tiles worth of defense and you got a huge playground. And the whole race track will fill up with trees too over time so you're even self sufficient with firewood and building mats eventually.
