Despite a balanced economy and dynamic banking system, there is no need to be gainfully employed - woodland hermit is as viable a playstyle as any.

There are a ton of private organizations to interact with such as The Rusty Rifle, Rapido Repo, Twiggy's, Hangman Articles, multiple rivalling motorcycle clubs, a rumoured terrorist cell and several emerging cults. Too many player-run shenanigans to list in full, but the discord directory, social media thread, and business ads within the newspaper covers most of them (the legal ones, at least.).
