Inspired by worlds like Dying Light and Left 4 Dead, this server takes place within the confines of Louisville as the survivors of "The Wave" (a colossal zombie horde), forces the last remaining human population to flee and find themselves trapped in the ruins of the ruined city, trying to find a way out while factions outside of Knox County scheme to take the city for themselves. But be warned, there are more then just the undead lurking in the dark.
The zombies in the city are unique in that they grow far stronger at night, and during the day, hide from the sun. Buildings become nests for hordes of sleeping zombies, which awaken and begin to hunt as the sun disappears from the skyline. The zombies grow restless as the nights continue, and rarely, leave their hiding places in huge numbers, bearing down on the nearest humans.
Among the ranks of the undead are vile mutants with strange abilities and unique attributes. These mutants have become more common as the knox virus continues to mutate
