once it's started you simply put in the address to the computer running the server to join

first thing I see is that I'm NOT supposed to launch the server via Steam. how do i know if i messed it up already? I opened the PZ dedicated server using the tool steam gives you

sorry I've never really done that. I only run servers on computers that don't have GUIs so it's never come up. I never noticed it said that at the top until you mentioned it.
