Making cars for the game, I thought I'd start a work-in-progress thread

Two new cars on the bench right now, a 1990 Toyota 4Runner and a 1989 Toyota Supra

Working on making some fun offroad parts for the 4Runner right now

Yep! I'm a big believer in animations because I don't like finding out I accidentally forgot to close a door when driving off

Downloaded this mod and found 2 cars from it on a lot

Only thing bothering me is that these have anims whilie filibusters and motorious don't

Fili is working on updating his right now, it's getting pretty close. He just released an alpha for people to test the new animation update, it's looking pretty great

I think fhq is getting there, a few of his cars have animations. I'm hoping he adds them to the pack and starts updating the older ones without them

Decided to add a Tercel into the update as well. Want to do a wagon version in addition to the hatchback. This update is going to be a whole "Toyotathon"! (please don't sue me Toyota)

I want to do a big Chevrolet set once I'm done with these Toyotas, and that one is pretty high on the requested list. Would be a good time to do it, so yeah maybe!

Interiors for the Tercels are done! Time to start working on armor.

Supra front armor is very cool but maybe stop sign or smth like that is better for the wheel armors

Great suggestion! I did something similar with the Lumina. I think I may go that route with the Supra as well since what I have right now feels a little "Mad Max" instead of "just slapped some stuff on the car to help against the zombies"

Interiors done! Need to do a few detail parts like the engines, brakes, etc and then it will be finally time to move onto texturing

Modeling of the new vehicles is officially complete! I always forget what an effort all the little details are to get modeled, mirrored, and prepped for texturing. But now that those are done I can finally actually begin texturing!

@thorn shuttle sorry for the ping, but I found a Javalin from your mod and bought it home, every time I get out, the player closes the door yet it reopens by itself, quick fix is to just get out the rear seats (if said car has some) so it doesn't have to play the opening animation

I haven't tested it on other cars but they might be the same case

Appreciate that. Not sure why it would be doing that, I will see if I can reproduce the bug. Is this on a multiplayer server or just single player?

Okay, good to hear. Still, it shouldn't be happening. I'm going to continue looking into it, I have a feeling it has something to do with the area definitions for the doors and seats
