Not sure how the game handles it but if there's no doors perhaps the smell can still hit you

Overall I would suggest just going out a bit and wait to not get sick

And just move the bodies out of the base

no, the smell can't hit you if u keep at least 7 tiles of distance between you and the bodies

It’s just best to move all the corpses outside and away from wherever you frequent. I’m pretty sure the corpse sickness will go through walls, but even if it doesn’t it’s good practice to pretend they do.

stale just makes it taste bland wich is why it gives unhappiness and boredom anything else its just food that why if you put it in a soup it deosnt go stale
