#A hard quest but I will face it

You are Chosen for this
vanilla
Damn
I've had that once as well. Definitely vanilla. But it's a nice way to find a few weapons. But this museum curator clearly doesn't know what it takes to clear out horde like that was my conclusion cause there aren't enough weps in that car to clear the museum. But it's nice to get a free stash of weps anyway.
there isnt a car that spawns in weapons vanilla, been tested that the map cant do that. The art gallery iis cool still
That's weird. I find guns, ammo and clips in parked up police cars all the time, even in roadblocks populated with vanilla police cars, and I found weapons in the car described on that annotated map as well. To my knowledge I don't have any mods that adds that functionality or any mods that adds annotated maps apart from the ones in addon cities.
Police car gloveboxes and trunks can spawn pistols, ammo and shotguns/rifles at times
I said annotated maps
Luck must be because there isn’t code to spawn in the car when you find the map. 🤷♂️ I’ve tested it several times
I've raided houses that are clearly events and later found the map. I'm not even sure finding an annotated map spawns anything at all. My impression is that a random set of annotated maps and the events linked to that map are spawned at game start. Not when you find the map. I could be wrong though. I haven't checked any code, just played the game.
an annotated map spawns a loot stash in the location it states so the maps and the loot are directly linked
you may get unlucky and the generation breaks or the stash is small but it should always lead to a stash
once an annotated map is found (if the code is there) it will spawn it in, like how you can find the map to the apartments at march ridge and gets loads of loot. THe loot never spawns before you read the map, if you go a place without reading it, it will have the buildings normal loot tables
I guess I must've gone near a crate with an annotated map in it and didn't loot it until later then.
So that I technically found the map but didn't loot or read it.
Well if you didnt read it, it cant spawn stuff
but
sometimes you just get lucky and find some stuff
also some annoted maps cant spawn what they say
such as vehicles
there are a few maps that mention vehicles but they never spawn them in
I guess I was just lucky with the car spawn when I found that map then. It had some weapons but not much.
Update, I died before I reached the museum
Lv is apperantly not that great of a place to run in gunz blazing
It's a great place for that. Just bring lots of guns to switch them quickly when one breaks. Keep your car running some distance away from where you're shooting for tactical retreats. Bring as many loaded mags as you can carry in your main inventory. Bring as much ammo as you backpack and car can carry.
If one of those are missing it's an awful place to go in guns blazing, you're right.
Keeping car running isn't really the best in high pop areas
The noise attracts zomboids and it gets surrounded easily blocking your escape route
If you have good engine quality and condition it is fine to keep it off
About guns lv is fine but only if you have enough ammo, depending on the area you'll be forced to use thousands of bullets, which I would rather save for more important areas like the military checkpoint or mall
I guess you and me clear things differently. I don't drive into the middle of a high pop area then start clearing my way out. I clear my way into it. There will be no moving zeds behind me where I park.
There's always gonna be zombies in the surrounding woods or more than wander in the sound radius
If you take more than 12 hours there's going to be at least a few
One or two stragglers maybe. Easily kited away from the car.
On low pop yes
If there's enough of them in the area to swarm the car the area wasn't cleared in the first place. Like I said: I clear my way into an area.
In high pop there's zombies everywhere
So unless you're clearing hundreds of zombies wherever you go then no area is going to be fully cleared
I do
Even the most remote fields and woods will have large groups
