@tall kiln you just have to build temporary wall structures around the sink, connect it then dismantle

And it's the sink that needs to be indoor, not the raincollector

The sink doesn't need to be under the raincollector either. One tile away works too.

Because you can connect up to 1 tile away from the sink above

better yet, if you have three sinks aligned, you can have up to 15 barrels

if you want more barrels, use even more sinks
