Entrance is through a gate that leads to my garage (aka the interior of the convenience store), and then there's another gate to the inside of the fort, so it's very safe. Whole place is surrounded by lvl 3 walls. On top of the convenience store is the base, and on top of that I farm some vegetables. Close to the gas pumps, I keep my vehicles (all Chevalier models). Got plenty of tools, gas (it's a gas station after all), food, weapons and water. Hope I last a very long time there!

Super sick dude, im currently working on a base at the junkyard in riverside, its very close to the gas station. All i need to get it working properly is a generator magazine. I can share a picture later
Im about a month and a half in
Cool!!!
I've found TWO of these magazines at the school, might be a good idea checking it out
and yes, good plan, immediately protected location, just needs a gate and you're safe, also lots of vehicles for practicing mechanics and wrecks for practicing metalwork
I'm 1m 29d
Thanks for the tip, didnt think of that
Here it is
Not much but its home
Need a pipe wrench as well for plumbing a sink i took
I also plan to make an Armory and a bedroom
If i survive that long heh
An actual oven would be nice too, as right now im just working with a BBQ, good enough for the time being
Go loot the big warehouses southwest of your base, found me an antique oven there and all basic tool I could want
gates are big enough for you to park inside the warehouse
I can see you have a dart and a nyala, but id recommend a D6 or a valuline, bc theres lots of good loot there and a big car would help
Looks like a nice base, keep working on it and you should last for months
Yeah i hope so, thanks for the tips man
you're welcome
btw I died yesterday after 2 months, hope you live longer than that lol
(But I died trying to fight zombies while tired and also I was away from my base. I didn't really need anything, but went looting out of boredom. If I had stayed home, I'd be alive still, so there was nothing wrong with the base)
Sorry to hear that man, a fresh start aint bad either though
That’s the thing, you get in a comfort zone, then you get bored and go adventuring. Then you make a small mistake like fighting while tired instead of trying to run away and it spirals out of your control
true
also true
That happened to me when fishing, i was in comfort thinking my fishing spot was clear, because it usually always is. So i didnt really look around me all that much, one of them snuck up behind me and gave me a chomp, only a scratch though. I was lucky
Its almost never the big hordes that get ya
