World's End RP has just started working on a new season that will be ready soon we just have to do some set dressing and a few fixes.
Here is our lore feel free to apply today and we look forward to seeing some new faces.

The year is 1996. It has been 3 years since ‘The Collapse’ in May of 1993. Little is known about the virus that swept the world like wildfire. It started out as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Masquerading as the common cold. Until people started dropping. And then rising again. At least, everyone assumes the two sicknesses were related. Communications collapsed so quickly, not much was known about the “Reanimates”, the term coming from a police report that the news had grabbed onto days before the blackouts.

Nobody knows where the sickness came from. What they do know, is that every attempt to study it has gotten nowhere. It mutates so rapidly, by the time any usable information is gleaned it immediately becomes irrelevant. This is what you’ve heard through the rumor mill, anyway.
And what of you? Three years have passed since the end of the world. It is currently June of 1996. You were whatever you were, wherever you were. But since then? You became a survivor. The U.S., and the rest of the world, fell down around your ears. The power fizzled out, water taps ran dry, those that remained became frantic and crazed. But you held on.
You found yourself following rumors. Salt Lake City apparently held strong. Some Senator had banded together the remnants of the city with the surrounding Reservations in the state and made one large Nation-State inside Utah. You tried to make it there, but their expanding border found you first. You found out they called themselves the Red Rock Republic, and it was everything you could have hoped for. Their goals were to reclaim, eventually, the original borders of the U.S., and rebuild. The Senator spoke volumes about rebuilding America and folding the government back together once they were rescued from whatever bunker the highest leadership of the original United States were hidden away in.
The Republic expanded from Utah, moving East, taking Colorado, then South to New Mexico, and now has circled back around to begin taking Arizona. The purpose for this circular expansion has been to fold in lower population dense land where other survivor settlements and nomadic groups would add to the numbers of the Republic’s expeditionary forces and allow them to eventually take larger population centers back from the dead, such as California.

And you? You’ve been selected to man this New Frontier. Most of you were volunteers, for one reason or another, looking to do your part. Others were selected via a lottery, when volunteer numbers didn’t meet requirements. You come from all over the currently claimed territory, from Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and some even newly met survivors from Arizona who agreed to be folded into the Republic.

This season takes place 3 years post apocalypse. When considering your character, understand that they were a survivor before they joined the Republic, whenever in the last three years that would have been, and since then, have been working within the Republic in their job. Carpenters, Metalworkers, Mechanics, all these normal jobs and more are available to be selected from. Fighters are part of the Red Rock Rangers, who were mostly National Guardsmen and Police at the start that were rolled into one element that handle internal law enforcement and external security. Scrappers and Scavengers are not an assigned job, and is something that is open to all citizens alongside their normal jobs as a way to supplement income.
Players may apply for certain leadership positions, these will be announced closer to launch. Positions within the Rangers and other sensitive departments will be controlled and monitored. Corruption within the Rangers will be required to be approved by staff on a case by case basis, since the department (along with all the other departments) needs to be functional and effective instead of a bunch of players in the position for their own gain.
