We are a small group of individuals trying to create a server that fills the niche of serious roleplay for those who are 18+ in the game Project Zomboid. Thus we are creating a project zomboid server 'Project Rebirth Roleplay'. This is a hybrid text/voip server made to be accessible for all skill levels, experienced with PZ, or entirely new to the game, we welcome you to join this community and give Project Zomboid Roleplay a try!
Project Rebirth Roleplay is meant to allow players both a platform for roleplay in different types of zombie apocalypses as well as a roleplay environment that incentivizes creative freedom. Seasons intended to last anywhere from 2-4 months, with over 100+ mods with constant updates, including specific mods made for this server; we aim to offer a high-quality Zomboid experience that's improved through roleplay. Project Zomboid often has an issue that once a player reaches a certain level of progression they hit a 'what do I do now?' wall of gameplay. Project Rebirth Roleplay intends to create that endgame content through roleplay, events, and a story players can uncover independently.
Aside from many of the most popular mods, PRRP offers a ticket system that lets your imagination be the only limit on your creativity. Want to build an EMP powerful enough to turn off electricity even before power shuts off? While you might not be fast enough, skilled enough, or have the materials, our staff team will create that narrative for your character to try to the best of their abilities. Trying to find the source of the outbreak? The world is filled with clues and opportunities for you to try your hand at investigating the apocalypse. With Project Rebirth Roleplay, your imagination and of course, realism are the only things holding you back.
What sets us apart from other Project Zomboid roleplay experiences? We are aiming to be 'similar but different'. There are incredible Project Zomboid roleplay servers that already exist, but our staff team feels that the niche of serious roleplay has been overlooked. With a strict whitelist and a focus on realism/insistence on lore adherence, we aim to create an environment that while not deprived of levity, is more focused on telling grounded, realistic stories for players to engage in.
We're beginning our first season at Project Rebirth Roleplay, and have what we believe will be an engaging experience. We are however looking to grow! Both by allowing players who are passionate about this roleplay medium the chance to apply for staff, but also the opportunity to help shape the server's story's narrative. We're always open to feedback and hope that through dedication as well as a focus on high-quality roleplay we can foster a community to create the roleplay experience that we as staff want to both produce and participate in.
