A small review as this one is a hidden gem!

I have been playing on some modded servers, but they usually overtune the mods to the level, where PZ loses its unique atmosphere.

Phoenix Hill is really worth your attention, if you are searching for a challenge, that pays off as you play. Struggling to survive at the beginning - yet completing new challenges everyday, building the community, trading and working together with other people. It really makes you happy about the time you spend on this server.

The best part of this server is it's atmosphere and really well crafted collection of mods, that won't destroy your PC, yet enhance the experience to the maximum. Mod min-maxing per say.

Fighting and especially firearms feel balanced. You never feel overpowered, yet you have the full capacity to fight and stand your ground.

The community and admins are really helpful and polite. You can and will find many survivors to group up and build a team together.

Defo worth your time !!

I recently joined this Project Zomboid multiplayer server, and it has been a great experience the balance between sandbox settings , loot and mods is just right . From the moment I logged in, I was greeted by a vibrant and engaging community of players , made new friends surviving the apocalypse just like me . Trading between players , helpful strangers and even door step services if you can pay the fees . The active server admins are pretty chill and hear your issues or bugs or even suggestions swiftly . Their prompt assistance and swift enforcement of rules created a welcoming environment where everyone could enjoy the game without any disruptive behavior. Whole heartedly recommend this server to people who wanna play Harcore-ish settings with a chill community . Come and join us and make new friends (or foe if u wish ) . spiffo

Just saw that the server I had recently started playing in posted themselves 👀. It’s time for a review, well I just recently started playing project zomboid, when I joined phoenix hill i had around 70 hours of ingame time. I moved on from single player to multi as I found the npc mods to be not good enough 😅. Either way when I finally joined in I was soo happy! Because even though there was a lot of kids to download, the fps and ping were good! Being from the UK I was skepticsl about the server being hosted from Germany but my ping is almost most of the time between 30-49. When I needed help the mods and community were helpful, but at the same time there was enough level of competition to make you skeptical about being raided! I was easily taken into a faction with a cool bunch of people and the gameplay had been good enough to get my character a really cool lore. Anyhoo overall I rate this server 9.5/10. Infact I am writing this review while playing in the server after finally finding a safe spot to park my car in, gotta go I hear the zeds 🧟‍♂️
