Speaking from some experience a Colt 1911 is among the best weapons ever made. Even if you don't like guns IRL I highly reccomend you try shooting one if you get the chance. It's an amazing bit of engineering. So buttery smooth, so accurate, so satisfying.

yeah it's great, im not that big of a fan of the 7rnd capacity for mags but i have like 5-6 mags in my forward plate carrier, and i recently looted like 15 boxes of .45 ACP

Nice one. But I'm talking IRL here. Even if the 1911 isn't best gun in the game you're playing you will be a fanboy/fangirl after shooting one IRL. It is simply amazing. Human ingenouity at its best and one of the best engineered contraptions humans ever came up with,

Oh nice! You've got more experience with heaver artillery than I do. I've only fired handguns from .22 to .45 Magnum and Glock 17. I didn't really like the Glock. Heavy trigger and kind of unwieldy for my taste. The 1911 is my fav by far.
I haven't even fired a shotgun or rifle of any sort which is something I'd love to do. And an MP5.
