before i leave my base i want to build something in these 2 empty rooms but i got no ideia on what to build, any suggestions

i think its mildrew disease, im new to farming so i did not know it would it spread and kill all the plants

Ouch, yeah. That's why a lot of people stagger their crops like a chess board. Deceases wont spread from one plant to another that way and makes things easier to control or even allows you to ignore them and just let that one plant die. But mildew cures are fairly easily managed if you stay on top of things though. All you need is cigarettes, water and a spray can. Keep two spray cans in case you get the other decease as well. I can't remember the name off the top of my head. I usually don't do much farming. You don't want to pour out one cure to get the other. The cure for the other one requires milk which might be harder to come across as time passes. Cigarettes are always plentiful though.

I tend to overdo everything and my first harvest of herbs was enough to keep my char high every day for several years and veggies are unimportant as far as I'm concerned. But with my limited farming exp it makes sense to stagger the crops.

Also they still spread on the checkerboard pattern but not very likely. So it’s usually fine to do that, too have maximum safety you space it out by 2 but that’s just wasted space to me.

They do? Did not know that. And I guess I got my deceases mixed up. I never did much farming and when I did I was on top of that like white on rice until it was fully grown. Learned how to handle crops and quickly decided it wasn't my kind of gameplay 😄

Well must’ve used crop mods which I love, because rice isn’t a growable crop. But I usually plant my crops in the mod game before a rainstorm and let them grow to seed bearing then I have enough until next harvest. Not for everyone but crops usually require little maintenance.

Most vanilla crops take a shorter time to grow like a few weeks but some modded crops are horribly long to grow

"On it like white on rice". Not "cultivating rice". I do have crop mods though. Not sure if rice is among them though since I only really collect seeds packets without looking at them and never do anything with them. In general I don't farm.
