The amount of people who had the flu suddenly rose by a few. Not too big of a deal, though when they went to the hospital it seemed none of the medicine they were given seemed to work? The illnesses grew worse; more pain, always hungry, and their pupils would dialate and eyes would turn bloodshot. CDC was sent in to perform tests on the patients. The CDC quickly found out that the so called "flu" was actually a harmful virus strain, one they had never seen before...
But not everyone who had the virus got to the hospital in time, and those who died began to walk again, some immediately after death, and some took a bit longer to turn. Family members and friends of the now undead were thrilled that their family members were alive once more. They quickly found out that the undead people were also- cannibals? Wide spread panic arose in Knox County when the first couple people were bitten and torn apart. People boarded up their houses and some fled to malls, stores, and different places. Eventually not only did the CDC find out that the virus could be spread through saliva, but also through the air. After 2 days nearly everyone in knox county was infected. Some people reported not getting sick from the air strain. The only people that are left alive, are resistant to the air strain. "
