You would have to use the -nosteam parameter in your launch options when starting the game

Then you host through the Host button, and then the other player connects to you using your Local IP throughu the Join menu

is the local ip the one showing in the server console window or the ipv4 adress i have ?

and is a port needed/ do we use the standard one ?

Use the standard one, the local IP is the ipv4 one, you can see it in your ipconfig
