I guess with just one town that could work. Economy-wise though? Are most people basically breaking and entering for food and items to trade for repairs etc?

no, it's got cash economy

with bank accounts etc

there's no loot , the server is based entirely on player interaction

however there are some pve aspects to earn money too

foraging, logging

Ah right. I just figured money has to come from somewhere. I'm guessing there's police, EMS etc as well who are paid by scripts/admins spawning in their salaries?
