Looking for someone to help me on an un-moded world to learn the game mechanics and show me some tips 🙂

Game is very unforgiving to new players and i can tell the game is extremely in-depth, im a fast learner!
yes, played maybe two runs so far and have gotten eaten both times
yeah but i was playing to slow and got bored and started running around looting and running from zombies
killing them when they followed me through a window or fence, until i eventually died
i think i would do better if i had some goals or an aim of what i needed/wanted to do in mind. kind of just aimlessly walking around with a frying pan or knife i find then grabbing everything not knowing what to do with it

so im just aimlessly walking around and the tutorial doesnt really teach u everything, not even close
like, i dont know what i should be gathering/looking for/supplying myself with to continue
im basiclally just getting better clothing, a weapon, and food and running from house to house with no other goals bc i dont know what to do yet

You can try finding a building that you like and making it your base
Board up the windows, start storing/organizing your loot there
Level up carpentry to build crates and rain collectors
Find a gas station, find a working car, find a generator to prepare for when the power goes out
